KANSAS CITY, Mo. – GreatLIFE Kansas City proudly announces the hiring of one of the premiere names in the golf industry, Chuck Dunbar, as the Senior Vice President of Operations. Dunbar will join the GreatLIFE team after a 20-year
career with Pebble Beach Company, including 16 years as the Head PGA Golf Professional at the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links. Most recently, Dunbar served as the General Manager at Nicklaus Club-Monterey.
“I am thrilled to become part of the GreatLIFE team.” Dunbar said. “It has such a wonderful mission statement and are committed to providing a great product at a great value to the greater Kansas City area. I’m honored to be part of such a fine
organization.”

 
As Senior VP of Operations, Chuck will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all of the GreatLIFE KC properties and will bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to improving and re-energizing each individual club.

For the past 25 years, Chuck has dedicated his professional career to escalating guest service and will maintain that dedication as GreatLIFE continues to improve the overall experience for every member.

GreatLIFE KC is a locally owned family business with the mission “to enrich the lives of families and individuals through golf, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.” Additionally, GreatLIFE’s charitable arm The GreatLIFE Cares Foundation works to “Provide support & leadership for programs and efforts benefitting children, families and organizations involving golf, fitness and healthy lifestyles.” Nowhere is this more clearly demonstrated than at Drumm Farm Center for Children, a beneficiary of GreatLIFE’s Drumm Farm Golf Club, where over $150,000 has been raised for the center.

 
Additionally, GreatLIFE and the GreatLIFE Cares Foundation are set to host the largest Kansas City charity golf event on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, during the Great American Eclipse at what is now 20 GreatLIFE area golf properties. In conjunction with GreatLIFE’s official partner the Kansas City Royals, the historic event is expected to host more than 3,000 golfers and raise funds for various Royals Charities.
